Rootly is building an industry-leading incident management platform used by companies like NVIDIA, Figma, Canva, and Squarespace. The company is creating a new multi-billion dollar category in how organizations respond to and resolve incidents.
As a Technical Product Manager, you'll work directly with customers to understand their technical needs and translate feature requests into execution-ready plans. You'll sit within the Product Management team, operating from a prioritization framework and outcomes-driven culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working directly with customers to understand their technical environment, integrations, and feature requests, translating context into clear, well-scoped requirements
- Mapping technical dependencies across Rootly's platform and customers' systems, flagging risks and sequencing work
- Partnering with engineering as a true teammate to scope, prioritize, and sequence delivery
- Representing the customer's technical perspective in sprint planning, roadmap discussions, and cross-functional reviews
- Keeping cross-functional projects on track and supporting GTM motions by aligning product, sales, and customer-facing teams
- Acting as a technical point of contact for key accounts during onboarding, POCs, and escalations
- Measuring adoption and impact post-launch, feeding learnings back into product development
You'll need 3+ years in engineering, solutions engineering, or technical product management, with experience speaking to customer engineering teams about architecture, APIs, and integrations. You should be comfortable reading API documentation, architecture diagrams, and system logs to diagnose technical fit. Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly infrastructure, DevOps, or platform tooling, is ideal. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a self-driven approach are essential.
