Lyric is an enterprise AI platform purpose-built for supply chain optimization, serving Fortune 500 companies including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, and Coca-Cola. The platform combines out-of-the-box AI solutions for network optimization, inventory allocation, route scheduling, demand planning, and scenario analysis with a flexible, composable platform that supports no-code tools, custom code, and forked implementations.
As a Forward Deployed Supply Chain Engineer, you will lead platform delivery on one of Lyric's largest enterprise engagements. This is a senior, customer-facing role where you own a workstream end-to-end—from planning through go-live—and serve as the primary point of contact for a Fortune 500 client organization.
Key responsibilities include: owning deployment workstreams end-to-end with full autonomy; running meetings and managing project plans independently; partnering with customer and internal executives to align priorities, manage risk, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; leading structured user acceptance testing (UAT) and driving adoption; training and enabling customer teams (engineers and experienced operators) to effectively use Lyric's platform; and serving as the primary point of contact through go-live and into steady-state operations.
You will partner closely with Lyric's technical delivery team to translate business requirements into platform builds, operating with genuine autonomy, urgency, and the rigor needed to lead a high-visibility deployment where stakes are real.
Ideal candidates bring 3–7+ years of experience, ideally as a senior consultant at a large systems integrator, with a track record of building, connecting, and managing complex technology systems. Supply chain consulting background is preferred; oil & gas industry experience is a plus. You are comfortable owning workstreams hands-on, running meetings independently, building project plans, and driving toward timelines. You are a strong communicator who can navigate large, complex client organizations and speak credibly to both engineers and experienced, non-technical operator audiences. SQL/Python familiarity is a plus.
The role is remote (US-based) with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones (Texas is a plus) to align with the delivery team and client stakeholders. Up to 25% travel is expected, primarily within the US.
