Delight.ai (formerly Sendbird) is hiring a Forward Deployed Product Manager to bridge the gap between enterprise customer needs and AI agent platform capabilities. The role combines field deployment work with product strategy—you'll embed with customers to design and deploy AI agents that deliver measurable business outcomes, then translate those learnings back into product direction.
You'll own the full arc from pilot to production for Delight.ai's AI Agent platform, working directly with enterprise customers to map their customer experience workflows, configure and deploy AI agents, run testing and go-live, and iterate post-launch. The role requires frequent travel and a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Mateo office.
Key responsibilities include: embedding with customers to understand CX workflows and design deployments; running the full deployment lifecycle from scoping through post-launch iteration; surfacing field insights and translating them into prioritized product feedback; building internal playbooks and AI-powered templates to accelerate future deployments; and acting as connective tissue between customer success, engineering, and product teams.
The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in a PM or product-facing role (strategy consulting background is a plus), a CS degree or technical equivalent, and hands-on familiarity with AI tools, agent frameworks, or LLM-based systems. You're comfortable with ambiguity, energized by customer problems, obsessed with real-world outcomes, and willing to learn and iterate publicly. You read rooms well, translate vague pain into crisp product language, and treat a last-minute customer flight as an opportunity, not a burden.
Delight.ai pivoted from a decade-long CPaaS infrastructure business (powering 7 billion messages monthly for 4,000+ brands) to an AI-first customer experience platform in late 2024. The company rebranded in November 2025 and is moving fast—pilots becoming production, feedback becoming roadmap, customers becoming case studies.
