Wealth.com is an AI-powered estate and tax planning platform serving wealth management firms and financial institutions. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will embed directly with clients to deploy, customize, and troubleshoot the platform in their production environments. This is a hybrid role based in New York City (3 days per week on-site).
You will spend approximately 15–25% of your time client-facing on average, with peaks to 40–50% during critical windows such as platform cutover (when a client goes live) or regulatory audit periods. Your core responsibilities include:
• Building scalable integrations across custodian networks—designing reusable connective tissue between Wealth's platform and external financial institution systems rather than one-off client solutions.
• Applying deep security and systems expertise to integrations with regulated financial institutions, reasoning carefully about security posture and compliance requirements.
• Operating with precision in high-scrutiny technical environments such as bank compliance reviews and security audits, where mistakes carry significant cost and regulatory risk.
• Maintaining operational rigor around deployment, credential and key rotation, incident response, and monitoring to ensure live financial integrations remain stable and secure.
• Embedding with clients during peak deployment windows to ensure platform reliability in their production environment and to provide hands-on support during go-live events.
You should bring strong problem-solving and communication skills, particularly under pressure in front of clients. Deep expertise in systems integration, financial services infrastructure, or comparable domain knowledge is essential. You must be comfortable reasoning about security in the context of external system integrations and regulatory compliance, and you should have demonstrated operational discipline in high-stakes deployment and incident response scenarios. Experience working collaboratively with banking clients and compliance teams in regulated environments is highly valued.
Compensation and benefits include hybrid work in NYC, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, company-paid life and disability insurance, 100% paid parental leave, company equity, 401(k) with match, flexible PTO, and free estate planning for life.
