As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will architect and deploy multi-modal AI agents that drive business impact for enterprise customers in the essential services sector. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI development and real-world operational challenges, building systems that handle complex business workflows autonomously. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and shipping production AI agents that solve real business problems for essential services companies - Collaborating directly with enterprise stakeholders to map workflows, understand requirements, and deploy solutions that unlock immediate revenue impact - Owning the complete lifecycle from design through implementation, deployment, success measurement, and iterative improvement with customers - Building reliable, scalable systems that support thousands of concurrent interactions with strong performance characteristics - Running rapid experiments with frontier text and voice models, fine-tuning approaches, A/B testing in live environments, and iterating in tight feedback loops - Surfacing patterns and opportunities across the customer base to inform product and engineering roadmap decisions You should bring 2+ years of production systems experience with Python (asyncio, FastAPI) and TypeScript (Node, React). You'll need hands-on expertise with LLMs, TTS and speech APIs, model fine-tuning, vector databases, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks. Strong performance optimization skills, experience building production monitoring and debugging systems across cloud infrastructure, and direct customer engagement experience are essential. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, comfortable troubleshooting edge cases, and committed to delivering fast solutions.
