Nash is a logistics orchestration platform powering delivery and fulfillment for major commerce brands including Walmart, Urban Outfitters, 7-Eleven, Shopify, and Toast. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be a hands-on builder working directly with enterprise customers to deploy and operate production software at scale. This is not a pre-sales or implementation role—you'll own the full lifecycle from concept through live deployment, working closely with customers' engineering, operations, and leadership teams alongside Nash's product and AI teams.
Key responsibilities include building and deploying production systems used by top enterprise retailers, designing and extending core infrastructure for global delivery orchestration, debugging real-world logistics workflows across fleets and APIs, and influencing product direction across North America. You'll move fast, iterate rapidly, and see your work drive measurable impact within weeks.
You should have 4+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with strong expertise in APIs, backend systems, or platform integrations. You're comfortable moving between code, customer problems, and architecture decisions. You communicate clearly with operators, CTOs, and executives, and you're motivated by building software that operates at physical scale. A bias toward speed, ownership, and iteration is essential.
