monday.com is seeking a Forward Deployed Consultant to join its Professional Services team. In this role, you will lead AI transformation and implementation engagements for enterprise customers, designing and building tailored solutions using AI agents, workflow automation, and advanced platform capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end implementation engagements, designing AI-native solutions that solve complex business cases using monday.com's agentic workflows, automations, and reporting capabilities.
- Conduct discovery sessions with client stakeholders to uncover business outcomes and ensure successful adoption of delivered solutions across their organizations.
- Provide business process consulting, mapping how work flows through customer organizations and recommending process improvements before solution build.
- Design sophisticated workflows and data structures within the platform to address complex business requirements, partnering with technical resources for integrations and agentic engineering.
- Leverage monday AI and external generative/agentic AI tools to accelerate solution design and deliver intelligent workflows.
- Manage standalone engagements independently as project manager, building and executing project plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; collaborate with deployment strategists on larger engagements.
- Conduct webinars, training sessions, consultations, and product demos that translate platform capabilities into measurable business value.
- Create documentation, walkthroughs, and exit artifacts enabling customers to independently operate, maintain, and extend solutions.
- Advocate for customer needs and influence product development roadmap based on field insights.
- Contribute reusable patterns and assets to the shared asset library.
The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the Atlanta office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience as a forward deployed consultant, implementation consultant, solutions consultant, or technical project manager in enterprise software.
- Proven experience leading software implementation or managed services projects requiring hands-on build and system configuration in project management, CRM, service desk, or collaborative work management software.
- Fluency in generative and agentic AI tools with strong understanding of leveraging AI to streamline work productivity and build intelligent workflows and agents.
- Familiarity with AI reliability in production, including human review, output checking, and judgment on when deterministic automation is preferable.
- Strong problem-solving skills rooted in computational thinking, systems design, and understanding of relational data structures.
- Business process design and consulting experience with business acumen to frame engagements around customer outcomes.
- Working knowledge of integration platforms (Make.com, Zapier) sufficient to configure lightweight integrations; foundational knowledge of APIs (GraphQL) and MCP a plus.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with ability to establish credibility with client stakeholders and executives; ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies across diverse customers and industries.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills; comfortable running multiple engagements independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with positive attitude, empathy, high energy, initiative, and adaptability.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
