Notion is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect to join its Services team in Dublin. This role sits at the center of Notion's workflow-led go-to-market motion, partnering directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption and measurable business outcomes.
You will be hands-on across the full customer engagement lifecycle: discovery, solution design, workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, adoption, and handoff. You'll work deeply with customers to understand their business goals, operating processes, technical environment, governance needs, and adoption barriers—then translate that context into scalable Notion architectures that unlock value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with customers on forward-deployed engagements from discovery through launch, translating business goals into clear solution designs and Notion solutions that drive durable adoption
- Design scalable Notion architectures that translate customer workflows, permissions, governance needs, integrations, and AI use cases into optimal workspaces
- Design and deploy AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, Workers, and the Developer Platform, partnering with Forward Deployed Engineering for advanced technical needs
- Help customers navigate change through adoption plans, enablement materials, and launch approaches that drive sustained usage and measurable value
- Identify repeatable patterns across engagements and convert them into packaged solutions, templates, reference architectures, and product feedback
- Serve as a trusted advisor, simplifying complex technical requirements and helping stakeholders align around implementation paths
- Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, PMM, and Services leadership to scale solutions
- Create clear implementation plans, handoff materials, and success measures
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in tech services, consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or similar customer-facing roles
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, and measurable success criteria
- Strong consultative discovery skills with ability to map workflows, identify pain points, understand operating models, and define practical solutions
- Hands-on AI builder mindset with experience using AI tools to design, prototype, and improve business workflows
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, data models, automation, enterprise systems, and implementation tradeoffs (no production coding required, but must reason through technical constraints)
- Strong experience delivering implementations that drive adoption and long-term customer value
- Excellent project and engagement management skills with ownership of scope, timeline, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, and launch readiness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for business, technical, and executive audiences
- Strong executive presence and customer judgment
- Bias toward action and high learning velocity in fast-changing AI-native environments
- Fluency in English and French
The role is based in Dublin with anchor days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in the office. This is a hybrid position for someone excited to work alongside the team in person during those days.
