Notion is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect to join its Services team in Dublin. In this hybrid role (in-office Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays), you will partner directly with enterprise customers to translate AI ambitions into operational reality, designing and implementing AI-native workflows that drive adoption and measurable business outcomes.
You will own the full customer engagement lifecycle—from discovery and solution design through workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, and handoff. Your core responsibility is understanding each customer's business goals, operating processes, technical environment, and adoption barriers, then architecting scalable Notion solutions that become a durable operating layer for their teams.
Key responsibilities include: conducting consultative discovery to map current-state workflows and surface pain points; designing scalable Notion architectures that optimize for adoption, governance, and integration; deploying AI-native workflows using Notion AI, custom agents, automations, and the Developer Platform; designing change management and adoption strategies; identifying repeatable patterns and converting them into packaged solutions and templates; serving as a trusted technical advisor; and collaborating cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Engineering, and the partner ecosystem.
You should combine strong consultative discovery skills, systems thinking, technical fluency (APIs, integrations, data models, automation), AI-native workflow design expertise, and exceptional customer presence. You'll need 5+ years in tech services, solutions architecture, implementation, or customer engineering. Experience with AI tools, enterprise systems, and driving adoption is essential. You do not need to write production code but must reason through technical constraints and troubleshoot effectively. Nice-to-haves include experience designing agents, automations, or AI-powered workflows.
