As Technical Product Manager, you will report to the Head of Product and lead product management activities for the data engineering and data science teams. You will work cross-functionally with a focus on data science and data engineering, managing the full lifecycle of data products from conception through execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead product management for data engineering and data science teams, including planning, development, and implementation of new data products
- Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders and lead technical discussions around data infrastructure and products
- Manage the data product backlog and prioritize projects, balancing short-term needs with long-term platform vision
- Plan and execute documentation and training post-development, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Collaborate across functions and lead execution in an agile environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning data platform or ML-powered products for enterprise software or platform products
- Strong technical foundation: comfortable discussing data architecture, pipelines, and data modeling; able to write SQL to answer your own questions
- Track record of working closely with data scientists and data engineers and earning their trust
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading execution in agile environments (e.g., Jira)
- Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and willing to learn
- Comfortable in fast-paced, unstructured environments
- Willingness to wear multiple hats and support teammates
- AWS tech stack experience is a plus
- Insurance industry background is a plus
