Nuitée is building the API backbone for the global travel industry, serving as "Stripe for Travel." The company connects hotels, OTAs, fintechs, super-apps, and businesses through a robust, API-first platform. Backed by Accel and investors from Booking.com, Stripe, and Shopify, Nuitée has raised $48M in Series A funding and serves industry leaders including Hopper, Priceline, Google, and Uber.
You will own the financial accuracy of Nuitée's Flights business. A single flight booking involves multiple parties—airlines, GDS systems, suppliers, Nuitée's platform, and customers—each with their own record of charges. Your core responsibility is ensuring those numbers reconcile: tracing bookings from raw PNR and ticketing data through supplier invoices to customer charges, identifying mismatches, diagnosing root causes, and ensuring Finance has clean, trustworthy data.
This is not a traditional accounting role. You'll sit at the intersection of Flights, Finance, Data, and Engineering. As you build expertise in flight pricing mechanics, the role will expand from reconciliation into margin analysis and pricing strategy. Flights is one of Nuitée's fastest-growing pillars with product, GDS/low-cost carrier/NDC integrations, and 50+ customers already live. This role exists to scale financial controls alongside that growth.
Key problems you'll tackle:
- Reconciling supplier invoices against actual bookings
- Identifying whether pricing errors are one-off or systematic across thousands of bookings
- Analyzing margin drivers by route and supplier
- Automating manual reconciliation processes to scale without proportional headcount growth
You'll have real financial ownership from day one; the numbers you reconcile directly protect revenue and margin. You'll work cross-functionally with Flights Product, Finance, and Engineering teams—not in a siloed back-office role. You're building process, not inheriting it; much of today's manual work is being automated, and you'll shape how.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in airline, flight distribution, OTA, TMC, GDS, or related travel industry
- Deep understanding of airline bookings and ticketing: PNRs, tickets, fares, taxes, commissions, GDS processes
- Knowledge of airline pricing concepts: published vs. private/net fares, markups, commissions
- Strong SQL skills and comfort reconciling large datasets; BigQuery or similar data warehouse experience
- Experience with Looker Studio or similar BI tools, plus strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Excellent attention to detail; ability to trace discrepancies to individual bookings
- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable collaborating across Finance, Product, Engineering, and external partners
