Meter builds enterprise networking as a service, designing, installing, and managing critical networking infrastructure for modern companies. The Fleet Partnerships role sits at the center of Meter's installation partner ecosystem, managing relationships with a global network of installation partners and technicians responsible for deploying critical internet infrastructure.
In this position, you will own the partner performance loop—the system ensuring Fleet partners consistently deliver high-quality network deployments at scale. Your primary responsibilities include:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Performance manage installation and Fleet partners through regular reviews, KPI tracking, and accountability structures. Drive partners to achieve ≥95% on-time arrival, 100% documentation completeness, and <5% rework rates.
- Maintain a live view of partner capacity against forecasted deployment volume and proactively negotiate capacity expansion (additional technicians, updated rate structures, renewed agreements) before bottlenecks emerge.
- Lead commercial conversations on rates, capacity commitments, and contract terms as partners scale with Meter.
- Design and launch recognition and incentive programs that motivate technicians to deliver exceptional work and drive quality outcomes.
- Establish partner scorecards, structured check-ins, and engagement cadences so partners understand performance and field insights continuously improve Meter's deployment systems.
- Conduct commercial onboarding for new partners entering the program.
- Translate partner feedback into improvements by working cross-functionally with Ops Engineering, Dispatch, Fleet Sourcing, Technician Operations, Distribution, and Service Delivery.
- Build systems powering the partner network: dashboards, feedback loops, onboarding programs, and performance scorecards.
- Run recurring partner check-ins covering tactical execution and long-term business planning.
- Advise Dispatch on partner capacity based on commercial relationships and operational knowledge.
- Meet with Fleet technicians and partner leadership to understand operational challenges and unblock deployments.
**Growth Trajectory:**
In year two, you could expand to building the global performance system powering Meter's deployment network, onboarding and developing Fleet partners in new markets, managing Meter's most strategic partners, or influencing the next generation of installer tooling and operational systems.
**Travel:**
30-40% travel expected. You'll spend significant time in the field running in-person meetings, supporting partner onboarding, and observing technicians at work. On-site presence with partners and technicians is essential to building trust and raising performance standards.

- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships while maintaining high operational performance standards.
- Experience working on physical-world programs, supporting field operators, and building systems that enable people to perform at their best.
- Comfort holding partners accountable to clear standards while advocating for them internally and translating their feedback into organizational improvements.
- Strong communication skills, ability to build trust with partners and internal teams, and composure when managing complex situations.
