As a FinCrime Transaction Analyst, you will be responsible for approving transactions and liaising with partners to ensure every transaction is handled promptly and within Aspire's Acceptable Use Policy. This role goes beyond execution—you'll take ownership of process improvements, contribute to building screening frameworks, and help drive enhancements across the end-to-end screening function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting timely investigations of real-time alerts while maintaining established SLAs
- Verifying transactions comply with internal and partner Acceptable Use Policies (AUP) while mitigating financial crime risk
- Identifying suspicious activity and filing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required
- Partnering with Compliance to support regulatory and documentation requests
- Contributing to process improvements and flagging gaps in screening frameworks
- Collectively owning the 24/7 operation, ensuring shift coverage and clean handovers
You'll receive training on transaction screening, ongoing screening, and exposure to expansion and enhancement projects.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in transaction screening, compliance, or financial crime risk
- Robust analytical approach and critical reasoning skills with judgment to work independently after ramp-up
- Detail-oriented and adaptable with strong commitment to ownership and quality of investigation work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, high-growth fintech environment, including 24/7 shift coverage
