The Financial Crime Operations team is at the forefront of Revolut's efforts to keep customers and their money safe. As an External Enquiry Analyst, you will detect and investigate financial crime risks that could impact customers, working directly with the Compliance team to safeguard funds and ensure robust protection against financial crime.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with law enforcement and the Legal team as necessary
- Responding to court orders, Data Protection Act requests, and Production Orders, ensuring compliance with legislation like POCA and DPA
- Meeting applicable timelines for request completion
- Preparing documentation for third-party requests
- Conducting fraud-related investigations based on received reports
- Generating reports and creating alerts for suspicious activity
- Discussing financial crime concerns with stakeholders across departments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (certificate required)
- Fluency in Romanian (C2 level)
- Fluency in English (C1+ level)
- 2+ years of FinCrime experience, or 1+ years dealing with external law enforcement and government agencies
- Familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools (spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts)
- Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and witness statement preparation
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
- Critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
Nice-to-have qualifications include fluency in additional languages, a degree in law or STEM, and professional certifications (ICA or ACAMS).
