Revolut is seeking a Financial Crime Analyst to join its Financial Crime team, which combines regulatory expertise with data-driven analysis to ensure products meet legal requirements while delivering customer value. This role focuses on managing enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes and conducting Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for new business customers and individuals (directors, shareholders, beneficial owners).
Key responsibilities include conducting risk-based due diligence reviews aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations; performing KYC checks to identify fraud, compliance, and regulatory risks; reviewing documentation to validate business legitimacy; collecting and analyzing evidence from official sources and registries in multiple languages; assessing customer business nature and activity profiles to identify red flags and high-risk models; escalating high-risk cases with clear rationale and supporting evidence; handling sensitive information with discretion and audit-ready documentation; and requesting additional information from customers using advanced communication techniques.
The role requires a bachelor's degree and fluency in English and Spanish (C1+). Candidates must have 2+ years of FinCrime experience, solid understanding of financial crime risks (money laundering/terrorism financing, fraud typologies, sanctions/PEP), familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools (spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts), sound judgment and critical thinking, ability to prioritize multiple cases while meeting SLAs, and impeccable attention to detail.
Nice-to-have qualifications include a degree in law or STEM, professional certifications (ICA or ACAMS), and experience in risk or AML/KYB functions within banking or financial services. The position supports 24/7 coverage and may include night and weekend shifts, which are fully compensated. This is a hybrid role based in New York or Mexico City.
