Palmetto is a leading clean tech company accelerating the transition to clean energy. This Financial Systems Analyst role serves as a technofunctional expert bridging business users and IT teams for financial system implementations and enhancements.
You will lead end-to-end enhancement lifecycles across multiple applications concurrently, including NetSuite, Stampli, and Workiva. Key responsibilities include configuring roles, permissions, custom forms, workflows, and scripts; managing NetSuite subsidiary and entity structures for multi-entity consolidation; and documenting business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
The role owns IT General Controls (ITGC), including access controls, change management, and operations controls across all financial systems. You will enforce SDLC documentation, perform risk assessments for production changes, maintain the Segregation of Duties matrix, and serve as the technical contact for internal and external auditors.
You will build comprehensive process maps across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report cycles, identifying high-impact manual tasks for automation via workflows and third-party integrations. You'll design automated approval chains with embedded SoD controls and proactively identify AI-driven capabilities to streamline processes.
Additional responsibilities include designing and owning test script libraries, coordinating User Acceptance Testing with business process owners, managing master data governance (locations, subsidiaries, entities, chart of accounts, vendors), and leading key initiatives while engaging with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.
The position reports to the Senior NetSuite Product Manager and is based in Charlotte, NC.
