Salary: GBP 71,400 - 96,000 / annual

Monzo is seeking a Financial Promotions Manager to join their Marketing function and ensure compliance with FCA and ASA regulations across all financial promotions and marketing materials. In this role, you will oversee the review and approval of financial promotions across Monzo's product suite, including personal and business bank accounts, credit cards, savings, investments, and pensions. You'll be responsible for reviewing and approving product claims to ensure they are clear, fair, not misleading, and adequately substantiated. Your key responsibilities include: • Overseeing the review and approval of financial promotions to ensure FCA and ASA compliance • Reviewing and approving claims about Monzo's products for clarity, fairness, and substantiation • Following and improving Monzo's financial promotions internal approval processes • Identifying process improvements to make the approvals workflow more efficient • Creating training materials for financial promotions related to new product launches • Staying current with regulatory developments in the financial promotions space and updating training materials accordingly You'll work closely with product teams to support Monzo's customer growth while protecting the company's brand and reputation. The role requires deep knowledge of financial promotions regulations, particularly those relevant to borrowing products (loans, overdrafts, mortgages, buy-now-pay-later), investments, and insurance. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the FCA, UK banks, fintechs, or insurers, with hands-on regulatory experience reviewing financial promotions. You should have excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple competing deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
