Mixpanel is seeking a licensed Singapore-based attorney to join its small, commercial, and global Legal team. The role focuses on supporting the business across commercial contracting, privacy, marketing, partnerships, and procurement. This is an individual contributor position with end-to-end ownership of matters and direct collaboration with business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating technology-related commercial agreements with customers (master services agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing addenda, data security addenda, and NDAs); reviewing, negotiating, and structuring vendor and partnership agreements; designing and implementing legal team AI initiatives, policies, and procedures; providing pragmatic legal and strategic support on cross-functional projects; advising teams on meeting strategic objectives while complying with global laws and regulations; and collaborating with product, engineering, security, and other business units to embed privacy-by-design principles.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating inbound and outbound commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, with minimal supervision. Required expertise includes negotiating data protection agreements, advising on data privacy questions, and product/regulatory counseling related to healthcare, financial services, consumer protection, and data security. The role demands strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, outstanding verbal and written communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus qualifications include experience negotiating enterprise deals with customers in key APAC geographies (Singapore, India, Indonesia), local entity administration, and assisting with local employment-related matters. The Legal team operates lean and treats legal as a revenue enabler, investing heavily in playbooks, tooling, and AI to maximize impact.
