You will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven insights across the business as the FP&A Manager. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with the CFO, Controller, and department leaders to inform strategic decisions and optimize financial performance. Given RentSpree's size and growth stage, you'll balance hands-on financial modeling with strategic decision support in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the company's annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and long-range planning processes
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate business scenarios, product line economics, and investment opportunities
- Track KPIs and variance to plan; provide actionable insights to executives and stakeholders
- Work directly with department leaders to support strategic initiatives, optimize spend, and improve ROI
- Prepare analysis and materials for executive and board meetings
- Serve as a trusted advisor to product, marketing, sales, and operations leaders
- Improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting to enable scalable and timely insights
You'll thrive in this role if you're collaborative yet independent, communicate clearly, and are energized by contributing across functions and levels. RentSpree has teams in the US and Bangkok; collaboration requires a shared window Monday–Thursday, 5–7pm PT. Any SpreeHours worked are taken back as flex time the same week.
Requirements:
- 6–10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with strong modeling ability; appetite for and ideally experience implementing AI workflows to increase efficiency
- Expertise reading and writing SQL at minimum to interpret queries and ensure consistency of information
- Experience using BI tools to create dashboards within existing database parameters and create new views based on existing definitions
- Strong grasp of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and financial levers that drive growth
- Excellent communicator able to present financial insights to both finance and non-finance audiences
