Mend.io is an AI-native application security platform helping enterprises secure software from open source, custom code, and AI-generated components. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be a key strategic finance role, partnering with leadership across the organization to drive financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis. Responsibilities include leading annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, delivering monthly and quarterly management reporting with budget-vs-actual analysis and forward-looking insights, and building comprehensive financial models covering revenue, headcount, opex, cash flow, and strategic initiatives. You will track business performance to surface trends, risks, and opportunities early, and partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Customer Success, and HR on planning and resource allocation. The role requires deep expertise in SaaS metrics including ARR, bookings, retention, churn, gross margin, CAC, and unit economics. You will build business cases and scenario models to support investment decisions, present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and the board, and drive improvements to financial processes and tooling. Required qualifications: 4+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience at high-growth SaaS/technology companies, strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, solid understanding of financial statements and SaaS business models, ability to translate complex data into clear conclusions, confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, bachelor's degree in finance/economics/accounting/business or related field, and professional-level English. Nice-to-have skills include experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or FP&A/BI platforms like Datarails, go-to-market or R&D support experience, subscription revenue modeling familiarity, experience with distributed teams, and professional qualifications like CPA or MBA.
