Revolut is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to lead quality control oversight of financial crime compliance work across the organization. In this role, you will validate that regulatory obligations are properly mapped to existing controls and ensure compliance with financial services regulations. Key responsibilities include: - Validating regulatory obligations are mapped to existing controls - Analyzing regulatory and legislative text to determine which obligations apply to financial institutions - Verifying controls exist and are properly documented to meet regulatory requirements - Reviewing work performed by Financial Crime Subject Matter Experts with meticulous attention to detail - Communicating review observations and feedback to stakeholders - Identifying opportunities to improve adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards - Reviewing quality and documentation of decisions made by Escalation Officers, FinCrime SMEs, and Compliance Managers across the 1st and 2nd lines of defense Required qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in financial crime across the three lines of defense, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring - Experience in fintech, traditional financial institutions, or regulatory bodies - Ability to interpret financial services laws and regulations (e.g., Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, Proceeds of Crime Act 2002) - Familiarity with CySEC regulations and Central Bank of Cyprus requirements - Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate risks and issues - Knowledge of best-practice FinCrime controls - Results-driven, pragmatic, detail-oriented approach - Fluency in English Preferred qualifications include law degree, compliance-focused background (Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Compliance Officer), knowledge of sanctions and PEP regulations, familiarity with AML transaction monitoring, experience with KYC/KYB onboarding risks, audit/assurance background, and relevant certifications (ACAMS, ICA AML, CySEC).
