Revolut is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance Manager to join its Financial Crime team, which blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to prevent financial crime in a fast-moving digital environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that financial crime and anti-money laundering control frameworks operate effectively across the organization. Key responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing group FinCrime policies, standards, and governance documents; providing second-line oversight and challenge over the identification, management, remediation, and closure of financial crime-related risks, issues, incidents, and control gaps; and supporting senior management in defining and embedding standards for effective financial crime risk management. You will advise and challenge business and first-line FinCrime teams on new products, processes, procedures, systems, and control changes, ensuring financial crime risks are appropriately considered in day-to-day operations including product development, customer onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and customer risk management. Additional responsibilities include supporting the design and delivery of financial crime training and awareness initiatives across the organization and participating in financial crime governance forums and committees, providing effective check and challenge, identifying risks, and proposing practical solutions. Required qualifications include 4+ years of experience in financial crime compliance, ideally across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud, KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, risk assessments, and SAR-related processes. Expertise in covering investment management and private market products is essential. You must have in-depth knowledge of financial crime regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and risk management practices within complex financial services organizations, and understanding of financial crime risks linked to innovative financial products such as digital banking, payments, crypto, and buy now, pay later. Familiarity with global financial crime control requirements and the ability to apply regulatory expectations in a practical, risk-based manner is critical. Strong stakeholder management skills, analytical abilities, and fluency in English are required. Nice-to-have qualifications include professional certifications from ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent bodies; knowledge of anti-fraud frameworks and financial crime assurance methodologies; experience with regulatory engagement, internal/external audit, or remediation programmes; and interest in cryptocurrency and digital asset regulations.
