Plaid's Corporate Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to support company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will deliver strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders, aligning financial goals with business objectives to support informed decision-making at senior leadership and executive levels.
In this role, you will own core FP&A activities including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting. You'll build and maintain financial models, develop dashboards and workflows, and partner with Finance, Accounting, and business teams to turn data into actionable insights. You'll have the opportunity to drive process improvements through automation and systems optimization, working with Pigment (Plaid's FP&A platform) and other tools.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or broader FP&A roles
- Solid foundation in core FP&A activities: month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, with exposure to annual planning
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills and experience building or maintaining financial models
- Clear communication and collaborative approach; ability to explain findings and build relationships with business partners
- "Act like an owner" mindset: take initiative, follow through on commitments, ask for guidance when needed
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and process improvements with interest in developing systems skills
- Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A tools is a plus
