Mejuri, a modern fine jewelry brand founded in 2015, is seeking a Financial Analyst to own the numbers behind the company's planning cycle. This role is central to Mejuri's financial operations, responsible for building annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts, then tracking actuals against them across departments, stores, and the consolidated business. Key responsibilities include: Planning & Forecasting: Build and maintain accurate annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts across all departments and retail locations. Prepare weekly cash flow reports to give the company a clear read on cash position. Monitor results against plan and flag variances that signal risk or opportunity. Identify process improvements to make budgeting and forecasting faster and more reliable over time. Reporting & Business Partnering: Prepare reporting packages that give business leaders clear visibility into financial results and headcount, with variance analysis explaining divergences. Provide decision-support analysis that changes what business partners decide, not just summarizing what happened. Challenge assumptions before they become forecasts, using data to push back when inputs don't hold up. Build working knowledge of Mejuri's systems, processes, and financial statements to identify efficiency opportunities. You'll join a small FP&A team where analysis often reaches business leaders directly with minimal review layers, meaning your work has immediate impact on company decisions. Required qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration with specialization in Finance or Accounting. 1–3 years of FP&A or financial reporting experience. Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, financial modeling, and large-volume data handling. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and use their full capabilities. Strong self-direction and follow-through. Excellent written communication and ability to build relationships across functions and levels, including with non-finance and executive stakeholders. Assets include retail or CPG industry experience and progress toward CPA, CFA, or CBV designation. Mejuri offers hybrid work, four weeks minimum vacation plus personal and cultural observance days, comprehensive medical/dental benefits, and generous parental leave support.
