Chainguard is seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to support the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and improvement of its financial technology ecosystem. This role serves as the connective tissue between finance systems and the Accounting and Finance teams, working closely with the Financial Systems Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
**System Administration**: Manage core finance tools including NetSuite, Ramp, and Pigment. Handle user setup, roles and permissions, configurations, workflows, forms, saved searches, and dashboards. Troubleshoot issues as they arise and support system updates under the direction of the Financial Systems Manager.
**Business Partnership**: Serve as a primary point of contact for Legal, Accounting, and Finance teams. Understand their processes—month-end close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report—and translate business needs into system solutions and vice versa.
**Integration Management**: Build, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between finance platforms and other business systems using iPaaS tools such as Workato. Investigate sync errors, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure accurate data flow.
**Data Integrity & Reporting**: Support data accuracy and security through imports, cleansing, deduplication, and governance adherence. Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and saved searches. Assist with ad hoc reporting requests.
**User Support & Training**: Triage and resolve support requests, document processes, and deliver end-user training to drive adoption across Finance and Accounting teams.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to keep system workflows aligned with business requirements and financial policies.
Required qualifications include hands-on experience administering financial systems (NetSuite, Ramp, Pigment, Ironclad, or similar), iPaaS tools (Workato), and a working understanding of accounting and finance processes. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to bridge technical and business needs are essential. Bonus experience includes SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or other NetSuite customization.
