Heidi Health is an AI-powered healthcare platform that supports clinicians globally, with backing of nearly $100 million in funding. The company operates across the US, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with leading health systems including the NHS and Beth Israel Lahey Health. You will lead the finance function for North America, reporting to the Group Financial Controller with a dotted line to FP&A. This is a dual-focus role combining regional financial control with hands-on business partnering. Financial Control & Compliance: You will own the integrity of the NA balance sheet, including reconciliations and monthly group reporting. You'll manage the NA compliance calendar (state registrations, sales tax nexus, annual filings) by directing external advisers and tax specialists, building an early-warning process for compliance risk, and serving as the single point of contact for group finance on all NA matters. Commercial Business Partnering: You'll be the trusted finance partner for NA Sales and GTM leadership, owning forecast accuracy, pipeline-to-revenue linkage, and sales efficiency. You'll develop the NA regional P&L narrative with variance analysis, bring commercial lens to pricing and deal terms, and translate regional performance into decision-ready input for company leadership. You'll partner with Sales and RevOps on commissions design and help resolve aged/disputed balances to drive down DSO. Operating Rhythm & Controls: You'll build the framework that transforms NA finance from reactive support into reliable performance management, with clear KPIs, owners, review cadences and escalation paths. You'll strengthen financial controls across spend, approvals, vendor onboarding, and commercial commitments while keeping processes pragmatic for a fast-moving region. You'll work closely with North America's commercial leadership, Sales, Customer Success, and the wider global Finance team across Sydney, Melbourne and Manila, providing NA-hours coverage to close the timezone gap. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 5+ years' experience in strong commercial finance and/or FP&A business partnering, ideally supporting a Sales or GTM organization - Comfortable partnering with Sales/RevOps leadership on commissions, forecasting and pipeline-linked economics - Experience owning spend or expense controls in a way that supports the business - Comfortable directing (not performing) US and Canadian statutory and sales tax compliance through external advisers - Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency business - Comfort operating with high degree of autonomy, NA-hours, in a small global finance team - Strong commercial judgement — able to spot when a number doesn't match the story behind it - Clear, confident communicator across finance and non-finance audiences NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology company - CPA or equivalent qualification - GAAP experience - Experience standing up or improving collections processes in the US market - Exposure to modern finance tooling (Campfire, Airwallex, Rippling) - Experience working across timezones with remote/global finance team
