Salary: USD 150,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Manufacturing Finance team, which oversees financial execution of the Global Manufacturing Organization. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance, leveraging data and business relationships to drive optimal financial outcomes.
You will directly own financials for a given product portfolio and guide strategic decision-making to optimize financial performance. This is not a service-provider role—you will actively shape strategy and drive results through deeper engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the finance side of the strategic Mission Readiness team with end-to-end financial management of strategic planning, including headcount, cash/working capital, capital investment, and financial analysis to support operations footprint
- Establishing transparency into headcount productivity for existing and future Anduril products
- Working cross-functionally with Business Divisions and Operational Deployments teams to drive consolidation of business case analyses and decision-making frameworks
- Building novel financial frameworks for operational decisions, including manufacturing and product execution strategy
- Performing in-depth quantitative analyses including variance analysis, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and root-cause investigations
- Performing Earned Value Management (EVM) and supporting development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC) for contract integrity
- Supporting cross-functional teams with tradeoff studies to achieve sustainable unit economics
- Developing complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives
- Adopting standardized data models while tailoring to product portfolio needs
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy
- Leading development of executive-level reporting and presenting financial insights to senior management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or technical background (Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations) is a plus
- 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing finance, business unit finance, management consulting, investment banking, or similar
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Strong analytical aptitude with intuitive thinking about problems in terms of numbers
- Ability to quickly execute analyses in Excel and translate findings to business partners
- Willingness to learn corporate systems (Salesforce, Coupa, Anaplan) and analytic/dashboarding tools (e.g., Palantir Foundry)
- Comfort communicating broadly with visibility to large groups and senior leadership
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
