Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to power AI at scale.
You will build and run the financial governance program supporting Crusoe's deal desk as the compute business scales. This is a strategic role that keeps speed and control moving together rather than trading off against each other. You'll design processes, policies, and tooling that enable pricing frameworks, deal approvals, and contract review to move fast while maintaining financial discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop processes and procedures for financial governance of deal quoting and approval workflows
- Serve as strategic business partner to Sales and RevOps on deal questions, drive creation of pricing options for standard-SKU deals, and build tooling to enable term/prepay tradeoff frameworks
- Review deals against policy and approve or route for further sign-off
- Interpret contract language to flag terms creating financial, accounting, or operational risk; loop in Legal or Pricing as needed
- Build and maintain reporting on discounting trends, deal cycle time, and policy exceptions
- Conduct ad hoc analysis for GTM and Finance leadership on deal term trends and impact modeling
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Product Finance to keep the deal process moving without creating bottlenecks
Because you sit across the whole deal book, you're positioned to spot trends in discounting and deal terms early and shape how the program evolves as the business grows.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in deal desk, revenue operations, sales finance, investment banking, or similar analytical role
- Demonstrated success building and managing programs supporting scalable commercial workflows
- Experience working with sales teams, ideally in enterprise technology
- Comfortable reading contracts and identifying financially material terms without needing legal translation
- Fluent in Salesforce or comparable CRM/CPQ tool
- SQL proficiency (BigQuery or similar)
- Good judgment about when to move fast on standard deals versus when to escalate
Bonus: Experience in cloud infrastructure, compute, or capital-intensive recurring-revenue businesses; exposure to building or maintaining pricing or tradeoff frameworks.
