Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. They own and operate the full stack from electrons to tokens, addressing the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute.
You will build and run the financial governance program supporting Crusoe's rapidly scaling deal desk. As deal volume grows, this role ensures that speed and financial control move together rather than trade off against each other. You'll be the strategic finance partner that Sales and RevOps rely on for deal guidance, pricing frameworks, and contract risk assessment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing processes, policies, and tooling for deal quoting and approval workflows
- Serving as a strategic business partner on deal questions, creating pricing options for standard SKUs, and building term/prepay tradeoff frameworks
- Reviewing deals against policy and routing for appropriate approvals
- Interpreting contract language to identify financial, accounting, and operational risks; escalating to Legal or Pricing as needed
- Building and maintaining reporting on discounting trends, deal cycle time, and policy exceptions
- Conducting ad hoc analysis for GTM and Finance leadership on deal trends and impact modeling
- Collaborating with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Product Finance to maintain deal velocity without creating bottlenecks
You'll work in a high-growth environment where the business is scaling rapidly and your financial governance framework will directly enable that growth.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in deal desk, revenue operations, sales finance, investment banking, or similar analytical role
- Demonstrated success building and managing programs that support scalable commercial workflows
- Experience working with sales teams, ideally in enterprise technology
- Ability to read contracts and identify financially material terms independently
- Fluent in Salesforce or comparable CRM/CPQ tool
- SQL proficiency (BigQuery or similar)
- Strong judgment about when to move fast on standard deals versus when to escalate
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, compute, or capital-intensive recurring-revenue businesses
- Exposure to building or maintaining pricing or tradeoff frameworks
