Heidi Health is an AI-powered healthcare platform that has scaled to support 2.8 million patient sessions per week across 190+ countries in 110 languages. The company recently raised $340 million (Series C led by Blackbird plus $240M growth investment from General Catalyst) and has grown ARR from $1M to $50M in two years.
You will be the Finance Manager for Heidi's UK and Europe business, a region growing faster than its current finance infrastructure can support. This is a dual-responsibility role with equal weight on two pillars:
**Financial Control & Compliance:** You own the integrity of the UK&Europe balance sheet, including reconciliations, monthly group reporting, and management accounts with variance commentary. You are the single point of contact for group finance on all UK&Europe matters. You direct external accountants and advisers through the compliance calendar (Companies House, HMRC, VAT), manage adviser relationships, and build early-warning processes to catch compliance risk before it threatens trading status. You are accountable if anything in the compliance chain breaks down.
**Commercial Business Partnering:** You are the day-to-day finance partner to UK&Europe leadership, owning the regional P&L narrative, budget vs. actual analysis, and the "why" behind the numbers. You bring commercial lens to pricing, deal terms, and customer economics, flagging risk and opportunity early. You translate regional performance into decision-ready input for FP&A and company leadership. You give UK&Europe business leaders reliable, self-serve visibility into their numbers so decisions stop waiting on Australian time zones. You partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve aged/disputed balances and unblock stuck revenue. You own the commercial view of collection risk and drive down UK&Europe DSO by fixing upstream causes (contracting, disputes, process).
You will also build the operating rhythm that turns UK&Europe finance from reactive support into a reliable performance framework: clear KPIs, owners, review cadences, and escalation paths. You partner with budget owners on spend decisions before they are made. You strengthen financial controls across spend, approvals, vendor onboarding, card usage, subscriptions, and commercial commitments while keeping processes pragmatic for a fast-moving region. You review regional AP and card activity, including prompt removal of leaver access, and escalate anomalies. You use FinOps-style discipline to connect spend, usage, and outcomes. You create simple documentation and control checks so the region can scale without relying on informal knowledge.
You report to the Group Financial Controller with a dotted line to FP&A.
**Requirements:**
- Strong commercial and financial acumen; comfortable moving between P&L narrative, deal economics, and cash impact
- Experience business partnering with Sales, Customer Success, or regional leadership in a growth business
- Track record improving collections or DSO by fixing root causes, not just process
- Experience owning spend or expense controls in a way that supports the business rather than only governing it
- Comfortable directing (not necessarily performing) statutory compliance and VAT work through external advisers
- High degree of autonomy and ownership in a small, remote-first global finance team
- Clear, confident communicator; able to hold your own with commercial leaders and external advisers
- Experience in a multi-entity or multi-currency business
**Nice to Have:**
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Exposure to Companies House, HMRC, and Irish Revenue processes
- Experience with Campfire, Airwallex, or similar modern finance tooling
