Salary: CAD 120,000 - 125,000 / annual

The Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance and play a critical role in supporting Banyan's growing portfolio of high-quality software businesses. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity in a fast-paced environment with significant growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close processes for assigned operating companies, delivering accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Supervise and mentor offshore and onsite finance teams, ensuring quality assurance over financial deliverables including balance sheet reconciliations and revenue recognition
- Collaborate with leadership to prepare budgets, forecasts, and KPIs that drive informed decision-making and operational performance improvements
- Manage integration of newly acquired operating companies, aligning policies and migrating systems
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining complete and accurate documentation for internal and external reviews
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency across finance processes
- Partner with operating and finance colleagues to support growing businesses through financial analysis and data-driven insights
Required Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent designation
- 5+ years of experience in financial management
- Proven track record in portfolio company management, budgeting, and audits
- Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly motivated and energetic with interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting designation or working towards one
- Experience with NetSuite
Compensation: CAD $120,000–$125,000 annually plus bonus. Hybrid role based in Yorkville, Toronto.
