As Finance Lead for Certa's India entity, you will own all finance and accounting operations for the India business. Your responsibilities include managing day-to-day finance operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, month-end and quarter-end close), ensuring full compliance with Indian statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, income tax, ROC/MCA filings, transfer pricing, FEMA/RBI), and managing statutory and internal audits while strengthening internal controls.
You will drive financial planning and analysis for the India entity, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and deliver timely management reporting to the global finance team. You'll oversee treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, and vendor governance. Additionally, you'll automate and improve finance processes and systems, and build and mentor the India finance team as the company scales.
You should have 7+ years of finance and accounting experience, ideally leading finance operations for an India entity at a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is strongly preferred, with deep knowledge of Ind AS/Indian GAAP and Indian statutory/tax compliance. You'll need hands-on experience with month-end close, audits, AP/AR, payroll, and strong proficiency with accounting/ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, autonomous, and comfortable building processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
