Omaze is a fast-growing fundraising platform that enables people to win once-in-a-lifetime prizes while raising millions for charities. Launched in the UK in 2020, the company has raised nearly £100 million for charity and is now scaling across Europe, with a German operation launched in June 2025.
As Finance Business Partner for Germany, you will be a strategic financial leader supporting the German business's growth. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the organization to deliver financial insights, improve performance, and enable strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include: leading planning, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for the German business; producing monthly financial reporting with variance analysis and actionable insights for senior stakeholders; building and maintaining financial models to support commercial decisions and investment cases; partnering with leaders across Property, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams to understand performance drivers; analyzing sales, customer, marketing, and operational metrics to improve forecasting accuracy; supporting month-end close processes; preparing board and investor-quality presentations; driving continuous improvements to FP&A processes and reporting automation; and supporting scenario planning and business case development.
You should bring significant FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance experience with strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities. Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with planning or BI tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Tableau) are preferred. You'll need confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive mindset focused on process improvement. Experience in international or multi-entity businesses is advantageous. Professional accounting qualification (HGB) or equivalent FP&A experience is desirable. Fluency in German and English (business level) is required.
The role operates on a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote per week. This is a permanent, full-time position.
