Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Field Service Material Planner to join its Planning team. This role is critical to ensuring the availability of maintenance materials, spare parts, and consumables that support asset uptime and operational readiness across deployed defense systems. You will own Field Service and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) inventory planning and strategy for specific asset lines, serving as the primary signal to Purchasing and Maintenance teams on what, when, and how much to acquire, store, and deploy. Key responsibilities include planning and optimizing Field Service and MRO inventory across spare parts, consumables, and critical components; collaborating with Field Service, Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability Engineering teams to anticipate demand for both preventative and corrective maintenance; developing comprehensive critical spares lists tailored for hazard zone deployments; designing and implementing inventory control strategies such as min/max levels and safety stock calculations to handle intermittent and event-driven demand patterns; monitoring part usage and failure rates to drive continuous improvement; proactively identifying and expediting at-risk materials to prevent supply chain disruptions; fostering cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless material flow; and ensuring Field Service strategies align with Operations & Sustainment contract requirements. You will work in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment where creative problem-solving and ownership are essential. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of supply chain planning, inventory management, or MRO planning experience in manufacturing, aerospace & defense, or technical environments. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, demonstrated ability to solve complex operational challenges, excellent cross-functional communication skills, ERP system experience (Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce), ability to travel up to 10%, and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance. A master's degree and 8+ years of experience are preferred.
