Roofr is a CRM platform built specifically for the roofing industry, combining aerial roof measurements, digital sales proposals, payments, material ordering, and business management tools into a single platform. The company is well-funded, profitable, and at an exciting growth stage.
As a Field Sales Development Representative (FSDR), you will be responsible for capturing and qualifying leads through a combination of remote outreach and in-person event presence. You'll spend approximately 75% of your time working remotely and 25% attending industry trade shows, conferences, and local events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute high-volume daily sales activities including calls, emails, and social selling
- Attend roofing industry events and trade shows to generate and qualify leads
- Conduct on-the-spot helicopter demos (aerial roof measurement technology) to showcase Roofr's value
- Work partner-referred leads with a speed-to-lead SLA (first touch within minutes)
- Connect with and qualify inbound leads
- Build rapport with multiple levels of buyers in roofing companies
- Understand prospect needs and communicate how Roofr solves their problems
- Collaborate with Partner Reps and Account Executives on lead handoffs
- Own demo attendance: confirm attendance, chase no-shows same-day, and re-qualify leads
- Track and improve your booked-to-attended conversion rate
- Document use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps in CRM
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and data hygiene
- Help define and improve sales processes as part of a startup team
The role requires travel to events and the ability to perform manual labor such as carrying boxes and setting up booths.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an SDR or similar sales development role
- Previous experience attending industry events or trade shows in a sales capacity
- B2B SaaS sales experience
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, quick learner, able to think on your feet
- Strong interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving approach
- Ability to take feedback, make adjustments, and handle objections
- Comfortable on the phone with strong email writing skills
- Ability to uncover opportunities through conversations and set meetings
- Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, Aircall, Intercom, or equivalents
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labor
- Roofing and/or construction experience is a plus
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus
