Greptile is an AI code reviewer that helps engineering teams catch bugs and anti-patterns in pull requests with full codebase context. The company reviews 5 billion lines of code monthly for 22,000+ customers across YC startups, big tech, finance, healthcare, and defense. A new repository starts using Greptile every 2 minutes.
You'll be Greptile's first field marketer, tasked with building the events and community engine for the company's next growth phase. This is a hands-on role that spans strategy, creative execution, and measurement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and execute memorable, distinctive events (dinners, meetups, workshops, conferences) that engage engineering leaders and developers
- Own the full field marketing calendar and run events end-to-end: concept, audience strategy, outreach, production, follow-up, and ROI measurement
- Partner closely with sales to convert event conversations into pipeline and revenue from priority accounts
- Build community programs that establish Greptile's presence in key cities
- Develop an ambassador program enabling customers, partners, and community members to host Greptile events
- Collaborate with engineers and customers to integrate product demos and technical conversations into events
- Manage budgets, measure results, and scale programs that demonstrate impact
You'll work in a small, ambitious team and have the freedom to experiment, measure what works, and build repeatable playbooks. The role emphasizes viewing events as a revenue engine, not just brand activity, and balancing creative vision with detailed execution.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of field or event marketing experience
- Experience marketing technical B2B software to developers and engineering leaders
- Proven track record of building events that generate measurable pipeline
- Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Creative instincts and high bar for memorable experiences
- Ability to partner effectively with sales, engineers, customers, and external vendors
- High ownership mentality and ability to build programs from scratch in fast-moving environments
