Join Deliveroo's Commercial team as a Field-Based Business Development Executive in Newcastle. You'll drive restaurant acquisition across the North East and Yorkshire region, building relationships with independent restaurant partners and expanding Deliveroo's local market selection. Your responsibilities include mapping and prospecting high-value restaurant partners, executing strategic business development through physical visits, calls, and digital outreach, and owning the end-to-end commercial onboarding process. You'll negotiate partnership structures that create win-win outcomes, develop deep insights into regional food trends, and act as a local territory expert. This is a hybrid role requiring significant field-based work. You'll need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across your territory. The role demands autonomy, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while consistently delivering against commercial targets. Essential qualifications include proven new business acquisition experience with a track record of meeting demanding sales targets, strong commercial negotiation skills, excellent relationship-building and communication abilities, and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment. Nice-to-have experience includes knowledge of hospitality economics, food delivery operations, or high-growth marketplace dynamics. Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing greater scale and ambition. You'll work in a collaborative, values-driven culture focused on making visible impact for customers, partners, and riders. The company emphasizes learning in an entrepreneurial environment, career development, and inclusive practices.
