Join Deliveroo's Commercial team as a Field-Based Business Development Executive covering Bristol and the South West/Wales region. You'll be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and signing up high-quality restaurants to the Deliveroo platform, acting as a regional expert who understands local market dynamics and customer preferences.
Your core responsibilities include strategic prospecting and mapping of new restaurant opportunities across your territory, conducting multi-channel outreach via physical visits, calls, and digital platforms to demonstrate Deliveroo's value proposition. You'll oversee the complete partner onboarding process from initial pitch through seamless integration, ensuring restaurants are set up for success. Performance monitoring during the critical first eight weeks post-signing is essential to guarantee long-term platform growth and partner retention.
You'll be embedded in the community, attending restaurant and food industry events, sampling offerings from high-quality establishments, and staying ahead of market trends. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel across Bristol and surrounding areas with a valid driving license and access to a car.
The ideal candidate brings proven sales and negotiation experience with a track record of closing new business deals. You'll need strong commercial knowledge of food delivery economics, the ability to work toward demanding monthly targets, and exceptional communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and email channels. Self-motivation, operational ownership, and tenacity in managing your own territory are critical. You'll report to the Regional Manager within the UK & Ireland team and work autonomously with real responsibility and pace in an entrepreneurial environment.
