MinIO is seeking a Field Architect to serve as a senior customer-facing technical leader responsible for defining, validating, and guiding AIStor architectures for AI, analytics, cloud-native applications, and large-scale data infrastructure. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams, translating business and application requirements into robust technical designs that deliver measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will lead technical discovery with customers and partners to understand their business goals, application requirements, data architecture, and infrastructure constraints. You will define and validate scalable AIStor architectures for AI/ML training and inference, analytics platforms, data lakehouse environments, high-performance data pipelines, and modern application data services. As a subject matter expert in object storage, S3-compatible architectures, distributed systems, metadata, replication, erasure coding, security, and performance tuning, you will guide customers toward informed architecture decisions.
You will build trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders across infrastructure, platform, analytics, AI, security, application, and operations teams. You will lead technical evaluations, system configurations, performance testing, and proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate AIStor's value in real customer environments. You will provide technical leadership on Kubernetes, containers, automation, and cloud-native deployment patterns across hybrid cloud, private cloud, public cloud, and edge infrastructure models.
Additionally, you will work with technology partners and reseller partners to support complete solutions involving analytics engines, AI platforms, Kubernetes distributions, data protection tools, identity systems, observability platforms, and public cloud services. You will build and deliver compelling architecture presentations, whiteboard sessions, demonstrations, best practices, and technical enablement sessions. You will contribute to technical portions of RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, security reviews, and competitive evaluations.
You will advocate for customer requirements internally by capturing field feedback, competitive insights, workload patterns, and integration needs. You will stay current on object storage, data lakehouse, AI infrastructure, analytics, Kubernetes, cloud, and competitive storage trends to help internal teams and customers understand AIStor's differentiation.
