Salary: USD 85,000 - 110,000 / annual

iCapital seeks an Assistant Vice President to join its Fund Finance Private Equity team, focusing on private capital fund accounting and administration. This role manages vendor relationships and oversees critical accounting and reporting processes for alternative investment funds. Key responsibilities include coordinating with third-party administrators to ensure timely quarterly valuations and accurate general ledger entries aligned with fair value principles. The role involves reviewing fund expenses and accruals against annual budgets, identifying outliers, and recommending adjustments. You will verify investor allocations to confirm profits, losses, and fees comply with partnership operating agreements, and approve quarterly investor capital account statements. Additional duties include reviewing and approving quarterly management fee and trailer calculations, overseeing the preparation and coordination of investor capital calls and distributions, and reconciling accounting data between iCapital and third-party administrators using automated tools. The role requires liaising with underlying fund managers as needed, monitoring fund compliance with partnership operating agreement terms, and reviewing annual fund financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 6–10+ years of financial services or asset management accounting and operations experience. Alternative investments fund administration and operations experience is highly valued. Advanced credentials such as MBA, CPA, CFA, or CAIA are a plus. You should demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities, work effectively both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments, and possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. High integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to embrace innovative technology and evolving business environments are essential. The role reports to the Vice President of Fund Finance Private Equity and involves close collaboration with team members, vendors, management, and clients. This is a hybrid position with in-office work Monday–Thursday and remote flexibility on Fridays.
