Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition within the U.S. Marine Corps federal accounts. The role focuses on greenfield penetration, net new logo acquisition, and revenue growth in the federal government space.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive territory plan to prospect, manage, and close net new Federal U.S. Marine Corps business opportunities. You will manage the full sales lifecycle from outreach and product trials through strategic contract negotiations and deal closure. The role requires partnering with internal channel partner sales organizations to establish initiatives delivering a minimum of 5 deal registrations per quarter, with a target of at least 1 qualified net new logo per quarter.
Additional duties include conducting account analysis, quarterly business reviews, and providing accurate revenue forecasting. You will drive market presence through targeted customer engagements, executive briefings, marketing campaigns, and industry conferences. The position requires initiating expansion discussions, identifying key decision-makers, and understanding budgetary timelines to maximize customer lifetime value.
Travel expectations are significant—up to 50% or more of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed to support business operations, customer and partner engagements, and team collaboration. The role is field-based and requires living within the assigned territory to maintain a strong local presence.
Required qualifications include 5-10+ years of quota-carrying tech sales experience with a proven track record of landing net new business in greenfield territories, and 2+ years of experience selling technical solutions directly into the Federal space. You should have a hunter mentality with extensive experience prospecting, displacing incumbents, and navigating complex government buying cycles. Strong MEDDIC knowledge and execution capability is highly preferred. Experience selling SaaS, subscription, cloud software, networking, or physical security solutions is preferred, as is experience collaborating with channel partners to co-sell and drive partner-led revenue. A BS/BA degree is preferred.
