Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks an experienced Export Compliance Senior Analyst to join its International Trade Compliance team. This role is critical to deploying cutting-edge defense technology globally while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. You will serve as a primary compliance interface across Anduril's business, managing complex export authorization processes under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations). Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting export authorization applications, providing guidance and training to staff on export control regulations, monitoring regulatory changes, managing export authorizations, and liaising with U.S. government agencies. You'll support hardware exports, develop and improve compliance procedures, perform compliance assessments, investigate potential compliance issues, and implement corrective actions. The role requires collaboration across the compliance function and cross-functional teams on working groups and independent projects. Required qualifications include 5+ years of export control compliance work, prior experience at a defense contractor or with the U.S. Government, strong understanding of U.S. export control regulations, and demonstrated experience developing and maintaining compliance processes. You must have strong communication skills, be a quick learner capable of contributing to broader legal function topics, manage multiple complex tasks efficiently, and be able to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) security clearances. Willingness to travel at least 15% and experience with export compliance software/databases are essential. Preferred qualifications include significant defense sector compliance process management experience, familiarity with Australian and UK trade regulations, experience integrating trade compliance tools into ERP/PLM systems, and prior experience as an Empowered Official.
