Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America by combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing for aerospace and defense companies. The company helps customers build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following a $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform. You will own every moment where someone meets Hadrian in person—the single owner of the events portfolio, from intimate twelve-person dinners to flagship launches built around working factory floors. This is a builder role with real budget and real autonomy, not a coordinator role. Physical experience is Hadrian's highest-conviction channel; the engineers and technicians the company wants to reach decide their career moves after walking a floor, putting their hands on a part, and talking to the people doing the work. You will engineer that encounter and run it at scale across multiple cities. You will inherit a portfolio already in motion and under-resourced, owning it end to end: strategy, calendar, budget, vendors, production, staffing, and follow-through that turns a good night into a hire or customer conversation. The company is scaling manufacturing footprint across multiple sites and hiring aggressively into the Bay Area and beyond. The events calendar is moving from occasional to continuous, with several initiatives already live: recruiting-driven dinners and socials, a multi-month brand and talent campaign anchored in the Bay Area, and factory/site moments tied to new capability launches. The next twelve months include a flagship culminating event whose format is still being decided—you will have a direct hand in that decision. Key responsibilities include: owning the full events and experiential calendar end to end (owned events, recruiting events, executive hosting, site and factory moments, third-party industry conferences); building portfolio strategy and defending calls on audience and cost; owning the events budget including vendor selection, negotiation, and production spend; leading production on flagship brand and launch events including format decision, venue selection, run of show, and executive prep; designing factory and site experiences that let people see machines and work while partnering with site leadership to ensure hosting never compromises production, safety, or export-control obligations; building repeatable cadence of recruiting-driven experiences (dinners, technical talks, demo nights, targeted socials); partnering with talent brand and recruiting on invite strategy and handoff to pipeline; developing formats that travel to new cities; standing up operating infrastructure (events calendar, templates, vendor roster, budget tracker, post-event debriefs); defining success metrics per event type and reporting honestly against them; managing agencies and production partners; working directly with the executive team on hosting and guest experience; coordinating with communications on press-facing items; and partnering with government relations on conference presence. REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years in experiential marketing, brand events, or event production, including ownership of a full portfolio and budget (not support on individual events) - Demonstrated experience creating an event or series from zero, including strategy and operating model, not only executing established calendars - Production depth: personally run complex live production; understand load-in challenges, realistic build timelines, and vendor contract management - Executive fluency: comfortable staffing and directing senior executives in live settings, giving clear direction, remaining calm when issues arise - Commercial judgment: treat budget as yours to defend; distinguish between spend that creates experience versus line items - Ownership and ambiguity: bring structure to an under-resourced function; comfortable being the sole owner and building process as you go - Willing to travel frequently and work evenings/weekends around event dates - U.S. person status required; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance is a plus Differentiators that set candidates apart: - Experience in hard technology, aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or industries with physical products where facilities are key assets - Track record running events specifically for technical recruiting goals with evidence of hire production - Experience activating industrial/non-traditional spaces (factories, hangars, shipyards, construction sites) within real safety and access constraints - Fluency integrating live moments with broader campaigns (out of home, social, video capture) - Experience in companies scaling quickly across multiple physical locations simultaneously
