Valar Atomics is building advanced nuclear power systems to enable clean, scalable energy for industry and next-generation manufacturing. The Executive Technical Analyst role supports the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer and the Office of the Chief of Staff, serving as a trusted analytical partner in a fast-moving advanced nuclear environment.
Key responsibilities include conducting research on engineering, regulatory, commercial, and strategic topics relevant to advanced nuclear systems. You will analyze technical reports and distill complex findings into concise executive briefings and decision-support materials. The role involves preparing technical memoranda, white papers, and supporting reviews of reactor design, licensing, safety, and engineering documentation.
You will identify emerging technical risks, issues, and opportunities; coordinate across technical teams and external partners; and manage executive calendars and meeting logistics. The position requires synthesizing information from multiple sources to support high-quality technical and strategic decision-making at the executive level.
This is a high-impact analytical role ideal for someone with strong intellectual curiosity, excellent judgment, and exceptional organizational skills who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You will work directly with senior technical leadership on mission-critical initiatives including the company's pilot plant in Orangeville, Utah.
