Hut 8 is seeking an Executive Recruiter to lead specialized talent acquisition for critical growth functions. This is a strategic, proactive role focused on executive search—not a high-volume requisition pipeline. You will partner directly with leadership to translate business priorities into hiring plans, flag market constraints early, and challenge assumptions on scope, timing, and compensation. You'll build and maintain a live network of specialized energy and infrastructure talent through strategic, ongoing engagement—not just reactive sourcing when roles open. Key responsibilities include: - Running multiple niche searches simultaneously with rigor and urgency, finding passive candidates and guiding them through the entire hiring process - Developing working knowledge of energy, power, and infrastructure markets deep enough to hold credible conversations with both candidates and hiring managers about the work itself - Tracking and sharing talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity to inform Hut 8's positioning - Owning candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring an exceptional journey from first contact through offer - Advising senior stakeholders with precision, pushing back on unrealistic requirements while maintaining trust The company operates on principles of ownership over hierarchy—your influence is defined by what you take on, not your title. You'll have real responsibility and the space to operate beyond traditional constraints. Work setting: Onsite five days per week at Hut 8's corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida. Candidates must be Miami-based or willing to relocate. Requirements: - Executive search experience recruiting specialized roles, either at a search firm or in-house - Demonstrated ability to speak credibly about markets, not just source from them - Proven track record as a talent hunter—ideally with knowledge of where top energy talent lives, what motivates them, and how to engage passive candidates - Familiarity with the energy and power industry, with genuine curiosity to deepen that knowledge - Strong communication skills across all levels; experience advising senior leaders and pushing back on unrealistic requirements - Comfort thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments; energized by ambiguity rather than slowed by it
