Halter is a venture-backed agtech company transforming sustainable grazing practices using hardware and software. The company is backed by Tier 1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, DCVC, and others.
This newly created Executive Assistant role supports Halter's senior executives leading Product and Engineering functions. You will work at the intersection of hardware, software, and product strategy, providing executive support while gaining deep exposure to how the company builds technology for farms and ranches.
Key Responsibilities:
EXECUTIVE SUPPORT: Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones, protecting focus and resolving conflicts. Coordinate domestic and international travel including farm visits and manufacturing partner trips. Handle expenses, meeting briefs, and inboxes with speed and accuracy. Prioritize requests and protect executive time.
PRODUCT AND ENGINEERING RHYTHM: Keep key team rhythms running smoothly, including planning sessions, product reviews, all-hands meetings, and offsites. Coordinate events and customer visits end-to-end. Track priorities, follow up on actions, and unblock stalled decisions. Connect Product and Engineering with the wider business.
SYSTEMS AND IMPROVEMENT: Own small projects from start to finish. Identify friction points and build lightweight systems to simplify workflows. Solve problems from first principles and close loops with clear ownership and deadlines. Provide occasional personal support to help executives perform at their best.
You will have broad exposure across Hardware Engineering, Platform, Firmware, Product Management, and Design teams. You'll influence how work flows, how decisions land, and how leaders operate day-to-day.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- High judgment and low ego; you know what matters and push back on poor use of time
- Calm under pressure when priorities shift and plans change
- Concise, clear, fast communication
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion (product roadmaps, supplier negotiations, unreleased tech)
- Genuine curiosity about how things work and why technology matters (engineering background not required)
