Formlabs is a 3D printing company powering innovation at over 50,000 industry leaders worldwide, including Apple, Google, Tesla, and NASA. As Event Specialist, Marketing, you'll be the operational backbone of Formlabs' North American trade show and event program, working closely with the NA Events Managers.
You'll own the end-to-end logistics and execution of trade shows and company events across North America. Your responsibilities include ordering and managing printed collateral (brochures, signage, leaflets) to ensure on-brand accuracy and timely delivery; preparing, tracking, and packing display parts, demo units, and product samples for each show; ordering and managing booth consumables and supplies needed for smooth onsite execution; and maintaining comprehensive inventory of event materials including demo units, signage, swag, 3D-printed parts, and booth hardware.
You'll coordinate with recurring vendors and shipping/freight partners to ensure materials arrive on time and within budget, maintain internal tools such as shipping calendars and logistics trackers, and support post-show wrap-up including processing returns, documenting damage, and assisting with invoice reconciliation. Beyond logistics, you'll support pre- and post-event marketing campaigns (email, social, promotional materials) in partnership with the Marketing Manager, Events; help prepare internal enablement materials for booth staff such as demo scripts and talking points; and assist with onsite booth staffing coordination and scheduling.
You'll also gather event performance data (leads, attendance, engagement) and compile post-event reports, coordinate with the design team to ensure booth assets are on-brand and print-ready, and serve as onsite support at events to represent Formlabs to customers, partners, and prospects. The role includes up to 25% travel across North America to assist with onsite event marketing tasks.
