Salary: CAD 53,000 - 62,500 / annual

The Research Coverage Team maintains AlphaSense's financial model library—a critical product that provides clients with clean, richly-structured fundamental data and three-statement models for global public companies. This team enables financial services firms and corporate teams to drive efficiency and ground their analysis in sound data. As an Equity Research Associate, you will support the financial model library by updating, building, and improving three-statement financial models for publicly traded companies. You'll work with a high-performing team obsessed with accuracy and stock/technology expertise. Your responsibilities include: • Updating three-statement financial models following earnings reports • Building and reviewing detailed financial models for public companies • Contributing to sub-sector and coverage-wide model improvements • Developing sector expertise to support modeling standards, dashboards, and new features • Documenting modeling best practices • Supporting analysts in delivering exceptional client service • Conducting ad-hoc research and company due diligence • Training new Research Team members You bring 2+ years of experience in equity research, financial modeling, or accounting, with proven ability to build and improve three-statement models independently. You demonstrate initiative, sector expertise, and are comfortable under pressure. Strong Excel skills, ability to manage deadlines, and proven client service orientation are essential. Leadership traits and/or mentoring experience are valued. Progress toward CFA, CPA, or MBA is preferred. You must be able to work in the PST timezone.
