Salary: USD 126,000 - 158,000 / annual
New Relic is seeking a Senior Equity Manager to own the global equity function across the US, Canada, APJ, and EMEA regions. This is a fully remote, individual contributor role with significant autonomy and strategic influence.
You will serve as the primary architect for equity-related functions, ensuring systems and processes are robust, scalable, and compliant across diverse international markets. Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic Global Ownership: Design and maintain global equity systems and processes that support the organization's growth and compliance requirements.
• Cross-Functional Bridge: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure tax and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Equity Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end administration of equity awards, including Profits Interest Units (PIUs), Management Equity Plan Units (MEPUs), Section 83(b) elections, and 409A valuations.
• Platform Administration: Lead Shareworks administration, maintain SOX controls, and develop clear Standard Operating Procedures.
• Stakeholder Education: Design and deliver clear communications to demystify equity compensation for the global workforce.
• Analytical Excellence: Conduct global reconciliations, root-cause analysis, and maintain meticulous financial records.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of equity accounting and administration experience spanning both private and public company environments. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent). Advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
Bonus qualifications: Certified Equity Professional (CEP), Workday HCM and Shareworks expertise, experience with rapidly scaling international organizations.
