Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer based in Quebec to serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor in the sales process for Fortune 500 customers. You will partner directly with territory account executives to expand Verkada's footprint upmarket, working with an integrated AI-powered platform that includes video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management.
In this role, you will be the subject matter expert on the full Verkada product suite, articulating value-added benefits to customers throughout the sales cycle. You will overcome technical objections, design customer deployments, and provide technical assistance to account representatives. You will present solutions to all levels of customer stakeholders, from C-suite executives to loss prevention managers and IT directors, serving as a product technical evangelist in training and educating partners, customers, and internal teams on the latest Verkada offerings.

This role requires regular travel estimated at more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations to support customer and partner engagements and team collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer with a proven track record working with Fortune 500 companies
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or security field from an accredited university
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
- Fluency in French (required)
- Strong background in networking fundamentals: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP, and firewalls
- Expert experience in cloud security, IoT systems, networking, Linux systems, security surveillance, and access control
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industry certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, or CSP
- Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python, or other coding languages
- Startup experience
